Court-Ordered Therapy Accepted Through Medi-Cal in California

When therapy is suggested or ordered by the court or Child Protective Services (CPS), finding a provider who understands both the legal context and Medi-Cal requirements is essential. At Center for Mental Resilience, we provide court-ordered and court-recommended therapy in California for individuals and families using Medi-Cal benefits.

We accept referrals for individual therapy, family therapy, and related mental health services when therapy is recommended by CPS, social workers, probation, or the court. Our role is to provide therapeutic treatment—not evaluations—while supporting clients in meeting court-related expectations within the scope of Medi-Cal.

What Court-Ordered Therapy Includes

Court-ordered or court-recommended therapy typically focuses on addressing mental health concerns, emotional regulation, parenting stress, trauma, or relational challenges identified by CPS or the court. Services are provided as outpatient mental health treatment and billed through Medi-Cal when appropriate.

Meet Court & CPS Requirements

Therapy participation can help individuals demonstrate compliance with court or CPS recommendations while receiving meaningful mental health support.
